2024 Presale Information & Crop UpdateUpdated a month ago

Last fall in Holland, the tulip growth was delayed due to wet weather conditions during planting, followed by a cold spring with excessive rain, hail, and frost. These extreme weather events disrupted the tulips' growth cycle, causing significant crop loss for our suppliers. This has led to shortages in the U.S. bulb market, affecting suppliers from large retailers like Costco to local garden centers. Reports suggest this year's flower bulb harvest was the worst in 50 years.

At Menagerie, we prioritize quality and transparency and I want you to know the challenges we are facing with this year's crop before you place an order. Having worked with our trusted bulb suppliers for many years, they have been transparent about meeting the supply demand this season. To ensure we can fulfill all orders placed, we have conservatively estimated the quantities available for pre-sale, aiming to avoid any cancellations. While this year presents uncertainties, we are committed to doing our best to fulfill every pre-sale order placed.

In the event of supply shortages, we guarantee a full refund for any pre-sale orders we are unable to fulfill. All pre-orders placed are scheduled for fulfillment the week of November 25, 2024. They will arrive on your doorstep pre-cooled at the perfect time to plant in warm growing zones.

Your continued support means the world to me, and we look forward to providing you with exquisite pre-cooled tulip bulbs for your spring gardens!
