Can I use your bulbs for indoor forcing?Updated 24 days ago

Yes! You can absolutely use our bulbs for indoor forcing.

All of our bulbs are pre-chilled, meaning they’ve already gone through a minimum of 8 weeks of chill time. This is the head start tulips need in order to grow and bloom properly. For outdoor planting, they’ll continue to receive additional chilling time naturally in the ground through the fall and winter, which completes the process for strong spring blooms.

Because we do the initial chilling for you, our bulbs are essentially hassle-free. They’re designed to be planted outdoors in the fall and bloom beautifully in the spring—no extra steps needed.

That said, forcing tulips indoors is a little different. Each variety may require slightly different chilling times, rooting conditions, and temperatures. While our bulbs provide the necessary base chill, additional care and timing will depend on the specific variety and your forcing setup.

If you’d like to use our bulbs for forcing, we recommend consulting a trusted forcing guide and rooting guide for detailed, step-by-step instructions tailored to each variety.

In short: yes, our bulbs can be used for forcing—but they really shine as the easiest, most reliable way to grow tulips outdoors in warm climates, without the hassle of chilling them yourself. 🌷
