How do you ship bare root roses?Updated 2 months ago

All bare root roses are shipped dormant from our farm in Live Oak, California. They are carefully packaged to prevent breakage, damage, and dehydration. Each rose is wrapped in tied plastic bags with water to maintain moisture, ensuring they arrive in excellent condition. It’s important to us that your roses reach you safely, and we take great care in the shipping process.

They will arrive with roots and canes, but no soil, leaves, or flowers. Don’t worry! With a 24-hour soak in water, some care, and proper planting, your rose will thrive and bloom beautifully in the spring.

What’s included in your bare root rose order:

  • QR code that directs you to Felicia’s step-by-step guides for storing, planting, and caring for your bare root rose. Simply scan the code with the camera app on your phone. We recommend checking out the guides as soon as possible so you’re prepped and ready to help your rose thrive!
  • Hanging plant tags, included as a courtesy if available. If they are not included, unfortunately we’re unable to send replacements, but rest assured—you can find all the necessary plant information on the individual product pages of our website.
